FreshTies is not-for-profit and we do as much as we can through sharing skills and resources (including combining with other non profits). However, we do still need that cash stuff to cover basics and to grow our projects in the heart of communities like yours.

We don’t do direct debit donations – it’s easy to forget where your money goes, and we prefer you to give as we build a relationship - and take it only when we need it (not just accept it because we can.)

You can talk to us, and tell us how you would like any donation to be used. If we can do it that way, we will, and if not, maybe we could take up the offer another time.

How will your money be used?

1. Paying for basics like:

• Pay the core team including our IT development / maintenance; (currently 4 of us)
• Give the proper time to work with people we lend a hand to;
• Provide work experience to those who really need a break;
• Equipment;
• Volunteer expenses;
• Grow the newspaper as a voice of reason / positive change.

Our office space is currently donated- so that’s a saving!

2. Funding and growing our projects, and in your area:

• STREET law;
• All Year Santa;
• Newspaper projects;
• ishare;
• Work with schools to let the next generation take on new ideals;
• Give charities enough coverage so they spend funds on what they really want to.
