We’re just being up front. At the moment, these positions are unpaid, though we cover
reasonable expenses. As we grow, we want to make sure that lack of access to funds, one
way or another, is never a barrier to working with us. We want the full range of talent and energy.
By looking at the links for volunteer roles you’ll get an idea of the type of roles / skills we need, and
provide opportunities for you to develop. It’s a two way thing here.
Internships
Internships are similar to work experience. Internships have clear roles and based around specific
projects / coordination roles- and individuals work for longer lengths of time (3 to 6 months, full or
part time) compared to work experience. Like volunteering for a day, work experience, internships
provide a chance to show off what you can do, and let us help you along the way.
Secondments.
What’s this? You’re employed already, and your employer lets you work in another organisation.
This is because their staff gain new skills and experience, and / or help a non profit organization like us!
Ask your employer if you can work with us. Many employers are willing to continue paying your
salary whilst you work with us. If in principle you can work with us, contact us for roles that we have
for you.
